The Green Mountan Mashers is a homebrew club of about 40 members who meet once a month to discuss homebrewing, brewing techniques, activities, and beer-related information. We also share our homebrewed beer and interesting commercial beer. We meet on the first Monday of every month, during the winter months, at the home of a member in the northwestern Vermont area. A typical meeting is usually attend by around 20 members.

In addition to our regular meetings, we sponsor a competition, a summer picnic, a spring party and a 'trub trek' brewery tour. In the past our 'trub trek' has taken us to breweries in Vermont, Montreal, Maine and Massachusetts.

Our monthly newsletter, The Barleycorn Press is published once a month electronically via our member e-mail list and on our website. The Barleycorn Press is generally distributed during the last week of each month during winter months. A printed copy can be sent via regular mail, if desired. Our annual dues are $15. Dues are prorated through January 1st of each year.

We welcome non-members - anyone interested in homebrewing or becoming a member is encouraged to attend a meeting (meeting date and location is specified in the most current Barleycorn Press) or e-mail one of us (see Contact Us on the home page) for details on attending a meeting or getting involved.
